This week in drawing class we were faced with an installation of umbrellas to draw.  The task was to make a drawing of the things about the arrangement which interested us, so that the viewer would also focus their attention on the same features.

After a certain amount of messing about, trying different vantage points and different arrangements, this is what I came up with.  I quite enjoyed playing with the colours, ended up with filthy hands but managed to avoid leaving the studio with thumb prints all over my face.
