A New Year

2014-01-01 11.32.28The weather is the talking point of the season, and here on the West coast we have had our share of the wind and rain, but this morning it was clear and not too cold.  Walking along the prom we stepped through flotsam and jetsam thrown up over the pavement by high waves, and crunched over the remains of mussel shells dropped by the birds.  We also saw an elderly television bobbing screen-side up in the water, an installation by an unknown hand, I’d like to think.

I hope this new year has started well for you, and that it continues on course.

  1. What a curious thing to see in the sea. Bizarre! Happy New Year to you, too; I hope 2014 brings you your heart’s desire! 🙂

    • Strictly, it’s the Clyde estuary, so someone may have simply chucked it in the River in the city and it’s bobbed all the way downstream, but it did have the look of having been arranged in some way!

      Happy New Year!
